THE ANGEL/ALLY PAIRINGS

The Art of Correspondence draws connections between subjects that might otherwise be thought of as distinct. For example, we map Frequencies to Angels and the Tarot to illuminate the tapestry they weave. The fact is that our interest in discerning such relationships predates the world of Angels we now know. Believe it or not, Lara first discovered me through my work pairing Frequency with Stone! It came as no surprise, then, that when we first met the Angels, we could not help but consider whether Angels matched to corresponding Stones. We sought to draft connections using books (and intuition) early on. This process yielded middling results. It wasn’t until this year, when the Angels offered us their proper names, that we began to reconsider how the Stones might like to introduce themselves. We chose to set aside the metaphysical descriptions we had quietly assumed throughout the years. We chose to meet each Stone through virgin eyes. We learned to notice details: color, texture, weight, environment, and more. We studied crystal structure, hardness, chemical relationships, and even etymology of names. In other words: we let each Stone communicate itself. This process yielded brilliant results. It soon became apparent that the Stones had personalities (!) – dramatic themes and signatures we could assign to Angels readily. It took some time, but in the end, each Angel claimed a partner we felt totally excited to explore. Each Stone “felt like” its Angel – and each Angel felt related to its Stone. We have been living with our final draft of Angel/Ally Pairings now for five months (to the day, in fact, today) – and every fit remains inspired from our view. Because of this, the time has come to share what we have found with each of you. Enjoy the gift.
