RECENT GROWTH
Written by Timothy Brainard
It’s hard to believe how much time has passed since our last correspondence here. What we find even more astounding, though, is how much we have managed to accomplish in that time. While it is easy to imagine how our quiet public presence might imply a short hiatus from the world of work we steward, the fact is that our silence is the sound of total presence – undivided effort offered to the growth of all we value and enjoy. The fact is, we’ve been busy: stretching each day to its limits in the wake of an enthusiastic flow. Amazingly, we closed the book on the last one of several (!) major projects on the last day of October (just last night). Which leaves us with a moment now to celebrate our progress here, with you. This past month has been generous. Here is a brief accounting of its gifts:
The Publication Audit (Angel Sessions): This comprehensive editorial procedure elevated the presentation of our Angel Sessions to a publication-ready format in each of its current placements: clarifying and perfecting the experience for students of our work.
The Publication Audit (Sitewide): This major project elevated every word of our entire website (front- and back-end) to the reader-friendly style we established during our work with the Sessions.
Expansion (Stones Table): More than 2,000 new Mineral Allies are added to our Stones Table, more than doubling its content in a day.
Expansion (Animals Table): Our Animals Table grows from 1,220 entries to over 40,000 total in a day.
Publication Edit (Words Table): This painstaking process elevated the presentation of the Words Table to a format that aligned with our updated Style Guide.
The Harvester (Private Tool): After weeks of development, this custom resource becomes capable of “harvesting” new candidates for our Words Table, increasing the efficiency of our process beyond measure.
Expansion (Words Table): On October 19, the Words Table grows to more than 100,000 total entries.
Expansion (Words Table): On October 26, the Words Table exceeds 150,000 entries – more than doubling in size in just ten days.
